Demonstrating its commitment to interactive technologies, the DMA has added a special award to its 2007 International ECHO Awards lineup, a Search Marketing Award that will honor the most innovative campaign that employs online search strategies and techniques designed to drive Web traffic, including search engine optimization and pay-per-click advertising.
In addition, the DMA has expanded its ECHO program to include five new advertising media’s: email and instant messaging, mobile, search engine marketing, Web advertising, and Web development. The DMA’s call for entries for its 2007 ECHO Awards remains open until April 24. The 2007 ECHO Awards Ceremony and Gala will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 16, during the DMA07 Conference & Exhibition in Chicago, IL, which will be held Oct. 13-18.
